After the Hydra incident, Tristan is trying to keep up business as usual, even with the damage done to the front of his shop. Currently, Riley's wonderful enchantment still resides, and Tristan finds himself reluctant to replace such a lovely concoction. So today, Tristan is working on making his wares extra special for customers. He's putting an extra effort to include as many comforting and cheering charms in his food and drinks, and he's offering free snacks/drinks to those who look like they especially need it.

He's in the middle of a newer cheering charm, mixing it into a banana cream pie, when suddenly, he mispronounces a word and an instant reaction of puffed smoke clouds into the air.

He turns to find a reflection of himself in one of his stoves, and he gapes.
"What in the hell?"
(OOC: The ~charm is going to last a bit, and it will keep making reappearances with new Hobbit footage/trailers/the new movie/etc. I regret nothing. >:D)

Kennedy blinks and shakes her head, slapping on a smile. "Your face seems familiar. Must just have that look about you." She freezes again, a vision flashing across her eyes. She closes them and rubs her temples. "Do you have a pen?"

He takes in the way she freezes and, so to speak, his witch senses are starting to tingle. "Yeah. Sure."
He reaches into a jar next to the register and offers her one of the pens he always keeps on hand.

Date: 2014-05-21 01:48 pm (UTC)She takes the pen with a thanks and grabs a napkin. She works fast--sketching the brief flashing of what she's seen. Sometimes when she draws a vision, Kennedy only sees the details and doesn't see the full image of the vision until she steps back from the finished piece, and she doesn't like the message of this one. She slides the napkin across the counter--it's image strikingly similar to one she's painted before, a young Asian woman, sleeping underneath the water.
"Do you know her?" Normally she hides her visions and draws them later, but she's seen this girl before. That man Bach recognized her. And the pie man in front of her triggered the vision. In her experience, that told her he would have something to do with the image on the napkin.

"My real name is Tristan, by the way."

"Yes, this is it," he says, opening the door and holding it open for her.

Date: 2014-05-22 10:53 am (UTC)"But, er," he begins again, attempting to run a hand through his hair before remembering how long and unmanageable it is. "We need your help with two things. One, I need something to help reverse this charm that backfired in the kitchen," he says, gesturing to himself. "And more importantly, this girl, Kennedy, drew a picture of you drowning and she has pretty accurate visions."
His voice goes soft with concern at the last part and he chews on his lip, looking at Riley worriedly.
"I was worried and thought you should know."

Date: 2014-05-22 01:56 pm (UTC)When she finds the bottle she's after, Riley grabs it and turns to sit on one of the slats on the ladder, handing a clear bottle to Tristan. The liquid is a green pearlescent colour. She blushes when he calls her his favourite witch and smiles again, even though this probably shouldn't be something to smile about. "Well hopefully I live up to that and can get you back to your old self. But this vision's of the future?"
Kennedy watches the two, her eyes and smile widening before she answers. "I've only seen the future before."

Date: 2014-05-23 12:40 am (UTC)"You almost drowned?" He asked, face becoming serious at the thought of Riley almost dying as he takes the bottle of potion, a lovely shade of green that makes Tristan think of spring.
"Have you seen anything else that might relate to that vision?" Tristan asks, struck by a sudden thought.

Date: 2014-05-23 01:15 am (UTC)Kennedy blinks, pulling the napkin with her drawing out of her pocket again. "I drew everything I saw," she explains, examining her sketch, then her memory flickers to the paintings currently on display in her shop. "I painted a portrait of Riley three days ago. Nothing off about it. The same day, I painted one of the boardwalk with explosions in the sky."
