OOC: Clarification.
Aug. 14th, 2014 06:30 pmSo there seems to have been some confusion, and I just wanted to clarify. Tristan is not a vampire. He is a witch. The not being able to go out in sunlight is a consequence of his resurrection, modeled after the whole "can't retouch revived dead people" aspect of "Pushing Daisies." I'm sorry if this caused any confusion; I hope this helps clarify things! If anyone ever has any questions about any of my characters, please don't hesitate to let me know!

At the edge of town, near the cemetery, deep in the woods, lies an old hunting cabin, long since rumored to be populated with ghosts. Tristan, after rising from the dead and finding out he has nothing left within Siren Cove, claims the building for his own. Currently, it's barely more than a wreck. Eventually, he'll manage to completely refurnish it, using money he earns from both assisting with the dead and the private, mysterious pie making company he starts up. Please note, these pies are not magical, but anyone familiar with Tristan's pies will undoubtedly recognize the taste.
Much like Hogwarts, Tristan disguises the exterior of the cabin so it resembles a worn mausoleum to those without magic. He also casts various wards around the place, to keep unwanted guests out, entrusting only a few, trusted friends with the ability to come and go as they please. Those people are: Riley, Michaela, and Grace.
Please note: If you're human, you will not see Tristan's house. If you are a witch or siren, you may see the house, but you can only approach it if you have one of the above mentioned characters with you.
Also note: The curtains remain shut during the day, as, like a vampire, Tristan cannot go out in the sunlight or it will revert him back to death.

- His favorite colors are lilac and mint green.
- His favorite fictional detective is Flavia de Luce.
- His favorite flavor of pie is chocolate caramel marshmellow. (He has a wicked sweet tooth.)
- His favorite band is Noah & The Whale and his favorite singer is Ingrid Michaelson.
- He has several of his own attempts at mystery novels saved on his laptop.
- He thinks of his cat, Flavia, like his child.
- He shuffles his feet when he feels awkward.
- His favorite superhero is Wonder Woman.
- His guilty pleasure is reality television, particularly TLC shows.
- He proudly considers himself a Hufflepuff.
- He loves doing the crossword puzzles in the paper, but he's terrible at them.
- His favorite tea is lavender and chamomile.

Knights of the Round Pie

Tucked away in the corner of one of the quieter streets by the boardwalk, Knights of the Round Pie has recently opened for business under the ownership of one Auguste Tristan Fabrice Bertrand. It appears as the photo above, with an addition of several medieval paintings and Arthurian decor to match the theme of the name. Small it may be, but it is a convenient place for those who prefer local, homemade goods to food chains. Those who eat and shop here will notice an improvement in mood generally, with the occasionally spike of good fortune depending upon Tristan's own mood. Knights of the Round Pie is open for business five days a week, from 9 am to 4 pm. Tristan also offers catering services to anyone who asks, and if you're aware of his spellcasting abilities, he is willing to provide his magical baked goods for personal use as well. Beware that he does not take orders that appear to have malicious intent. Above the establishment is one cozy apartment, also belonging to Tristan. Those seeking employment here may speak to Tristan directly.
